Peggy majored in art in college and has continued her education by taking instruction from many outstanding local and nationally
recognized artists. She continues her Art education constantly in order to grow in her quest for excellence.

Beginning with oils, she eventually specialized in watercolors...later expanding to pastels and oils once again. As a colorist, her paintings depict the exciting variety and color found in all subject matter; landscapes, seascapes, still life, florals and portraits.

Her paintings have won awards throughout California...earning her signature awards in the Society of Western Artists and the Alliance for California Artists. Her paintings hang in many private collections both in the United States and Canada. Since moving to New Mexico, she has joined several organizations.

She is President of Gathering of Artists Guild in Bernalillo. Peggy looks forward to the challenge of being a New Mexico painter of distinction.
